Tchaikovsky invites you to "forsake reality and lose oneself in dreams" with his great symphonic masterpiece, Symphony No. 4 in F minor conducted by the world-renowned Maestro JoAnn Falletta. And, what better way to 'check out' than with that oddity of oddities, a Percussion Concerto complete with vibraphone, temple blocks, marimba, wood blocks, a bowl, gongs, timbales, tom-toms, bongos, crotales, and yes...cowbell (the marvelous instrument of Will Farrell in the famous SNL cowbell sketch). Young Scotsman Colin Currie brings Jennifer Higdon's concerto to life. Vivace members sit together, get a fabulous discount, and receive a unique version of the program notes.The after-party:
