This past weekend I attended both Beethoven's Seventh and The Crystal & The Sphere — both amazing shows!
Utah Symphony performed Beethoven's Seventh and the crowd absolutely loved it! There was also a gust artist - Robert McDuffie, a violin soloist. He was very entertaining to watch, and a privilege to listen to!
Ririe-Woodbury's performance of Alwin Nikolais' The Crystal and The Sphere was also an excellent show! The show was entertaining, fun and even humorous at times. It was a show that all ages could enjoy!
We are so lucky, here in Salt Lake, to have so many great performing arts groups and companies. And they are all very affordable and easily accessible. So please be sure that you get out and support the arts! Luckily for all of us... there are plenty more shows to see this season! Here are a few more upcoming shows:

| RDT Steps Out of the Box with Ririe-Woodbury and Ballet West |
| You might remember that last year, RDT partnered with Ballet West & Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company to form Studio D. Studio D invites 20-, 30-, and 40-somethings (single, partnered, or married) to four or five dance performances each season, and to fabulous after-parties at local restaurants. On March 1, Studio D is putting together an event like no other. At Out of the Box you'll eat, drink, and be entertained by artists from Ballet West, Repertory Dance Theatre, and Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, all in the same show! On top of that, local restaurants are providing food and beverages, which are included in your ticket price. Tickets are $25 ($20 for students). Buy online or by phone, 801-355-ARTS.
